Use what your owner's manual recommends. Pretty simple. 10-40 yamalube or 10-30 honda gn4 dino oil.As long as the oil you use meets JASO specifications your good to go. Oil cant tell what you are putting it in, it wont go on strike if you use diesel oil in a bike. It goes on to explain the correct weight for your application also.
