The very FIRST double hump, camel hump, FI, "fuelie" (whatever you want to call it) head was installed on the 1961 315hp/283 Corvette fuel injected engine. THAT WAS THE ONLY ENGINE (at that time) TO GET THE HEADS WITH THE NOW FAMOUS 2 HUMPS on the ends of the head. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, guess where the "fuelie" term originated.
