2006 GP base No more wet frame rail. No drips. No leaks around the repair areas as well as coolant temp sensor or T-stat. Still smelling hot coolant and the coolant in the reservoir is slowly dropping. Oil shows no sign of coolant and vice-versa. Any ideas?? Thanks.I'm going to change out the LIM gaskets on my 3800, and I was wondering what difference between unpinned, and pinned gaskets were? I know felpro sells both, but I didn't want to buy anything until I made sure what the difference was. Also, would it be better to go with GM's revised aluminum...If the gaskets are leaking externally, change them NOW!!! Bar's Leaks will be worse than nothing since it's giving a false sense of security. Also, it won't work with the design of the LIM gaskets. I have a 1999 Monte Carlo Z34 with the 3800 Series 2 with 85k on it. Over the past 3k miles it has lost about 1 gallon of coolant, no leaks on the driveway at all so im sure I need to change the UIM.
