Nov 1, 2016 · As a Christian and retired USAF medic, I was intrigued when I saw the trailer for the movie Hacksaw Ridge. I had just learned about Desmond Doss' exploits from another book and had to see the movie. It brought tears to my eyes the brutality that was suffered on both sides and the caring, motivated drive that kept Doss going.
