I am not generally a fan of low contrast color ways and Traska has several. The Summiteer Blue and the Venturer Bottle Green are particularly nice to my taste. I want to able to read a watch at a glance and both of the colors are stellar in that regard. Traska makes a really nice watch! I like it a lot, but it’s not without some very minor faults. The Traska Summiteer is a 3 handed stainless steel sports watch in the same vein as the BB36, but without the eye-watering price. Could this be it? I have always liked the blue dialed 3, 6, 9 Rolex Air King watches and the Summiteer hits close to that design (with a bit of 1016 Explorer). Its size is 38.5mm so it fits almost any wrist. First things first: the exact version I am reviewing is the 36mm Summiteer with a Sage Green dial. Not much needs to be explained in regards to the 36mm case. If you are a fan of more traditionally-sized watches, than this will not disappoint. I do want to point out that Traska uses some proprietary metal treatment that results in a super scratch resistant surface. Few other brands offer this, none at this price range.
